Contact: Marcus Dancer Email: info@clematisplants.co.uk Marcus Dancer Plants | This group of clematis, the cirrhosas, are evergreen and produce their flowers during the winter. Starting as early as November and continuing until March/April. The flowers are remarkably hardy coming through the hardest of frosts. However an exposed windy cold site should be avoided. Good winter drainage is important. During the summer don’t be alarmed if some of the leaves turn brown - they have a natural dormant period at this time. New, lush evergreen leaves will emerge in the autumn.
